CAMPING

we camped at saddlebag lake...............it was so gorgeous!! the nights were pretty chilly but it was fun!! we went on 9 mile hikes the 2 days that we were there. Dad, J, and Ash, and me even hiked to some snow!!
we drove there on friday afternoon and got back sunday afternoon......short trip but very worth it!!

On Thursday our family rode across the Golden Gate bridge! The whole ride was about 9 miles. When we got off the bridge we walked around for a while then took a ferry back.........

HOME!!

We are now home! we got back last Thursday. The day we flew home was a long day.....we left Abby's house at like 4:45. Andrew stayed with us until we had to board the plane. Our flight was about an hour and 55 minutes to LA. Then we had a almost 4 hr. layover. Then we flew to San Francisco, and had a three hour drive home. We were exhausted.

Colorado!

We are in CO taking care of Abby. We came here 2 weeks ago with Mom. She went home on Sunday, so we are going to stay for a little while till she feels better.

We went to Yosemite!!

we had soooooooo much fun!!

we got there around 11:00

and then we rode our bikes to the lower falls and then took a 6 mile hike ( round trip)
it seemed like 12 miles because we didn't have enough water and it was 90 degrees...

it was really fun though. we stood so close to the waterfall...the mist was freezing one minute we were dripping sweat then when we were standing by the waterfall we had goosebumps....the waterfall was gorgeous...the water coming sounded like thunder...we were so tired that night...

a week ago we pulled a prank on the Kuhlmans......well it all got started because dad had pulled two toilets, then on Mon. night at the dinner table we were wondering what to do with the toilets.
Then we were joking around about how we should put flowers in them and put them in are yard, (about a mile from our house there is a house with about 8-10 bathtubs in their yard.) then dad said " we should drop them off at the Kuhlman's house". Then one thing led to an other, we made a big banner that said, " Wacky Wednesday hits the Kuhlman home". And mom got some flowers to put in the toilet, and got the Wacky Wednesday book for them. We went to their house around 10:45. Dad wanted to go then because he didn't want to stay up all night....it was to early though....they live in a neighborhood so there are a bunch of street lights, when we got there the windows were open and we could hear them talking...but we decided to go any way and be really quiet.....we got out of the car really quiet....we didn't want to shut the doors all the way because that would be loud so we just left the doors open...but then all the lights in the car are on..... while we were hanging the sign on their garage door when dad was putting the toilets out on their porch. he was laughing so hard he could hardly contain himself.... just then Kim came out and was like "what the heck?" "is that the Sloveks?" "what are you guys doing here?"
we were like "shhhhhhh" and she was like " i won't say anything", then we all jumped in the car just while Seth was coming out the door. then J got a text from seth it said what the heck are you doing?........it was still funny even though we got caught
